Four 19th Century Farmhouse Kitchen Chairs

A matched set of four 19th century farmhouse kitchen chairs, each with the slat or lathe backs, solid elm seats, raised on four turned legs with ‘H’ stretcher supports. Each chair is slightly different, but they work well as a set of four.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. General surface wear to each of the chairs with some age-related marks in places including the seats (pictured). All the chairs are solid and sturdy with good tight joints. Some splitting to the seat of one chair and to the back rail (visible in photos). Evidence of old historic worm to each chair – this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. A good matched set of four antique farmhouse chairs.
