Description

A Fine quality 19th Century French antique gilt wood over mantle mirror. A fine example of a late 19th century carved gilt wood and gesso mirror, having a finely carved and elaborate floral garland cresting above a rectangular bevelled mirror with an intricate carved border with appliqués depicting the arts and retaining the original plate with minor crackling consistent with the age of this piece. Superb condition throughout retaining the original gilding with minor wear in places. French circa 1880-1900

Dimensions: 39" wide x 82" high x 1" deep
