Antique Edwardian Davenport Desk

An antique Edwardian davenport desk with small compartment to the top having decorative carved upstand, a hinged leather writing slope revealing storage below (the fitted interior has been removed at some point), a bank of four drawers to the right-hand side each with decorative brass handles, dummy drawers to the other side, raised on decorative upright supports and castors.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. General surface wear in places but overall, good. The leather is worn but has no major rips or tears. The fitted interior has been removed at some point in time. Structurally solid and sound. Working locks and keys although some are a little stiff.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores all our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is home ready!
