Description

Antique silver Waltham Seaside pocket watch.

The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement, Seaside grade, which is working nicely. The nicely patterned plates are nicely signed and the serial number, 13,999,660, dates it back to around 1904. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 40mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1909 with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. The Dennison Watch Case Company made most of the cases for Waltham UK. The case is in very nice condition.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The dial has a few hairline cracks but they are faint. Blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
