Description

A fine quality satinwood and inlaid demi lune display cabinet. The triple bow fronted top having book matched satinwood veneers with rosewood cross banding between ebony and boxwood line inlay. The frieze having an unusual marquetry and pen-work frieze depicting various topographic scenes with attendant cherubs and again with rosewood cross banding and line inlay. The bow fronted door opens to reveal an interior retaining its original green crushed velvet lining and 2 satinwood faced shelves. The whole raised on square tapering legs with spade feet and joined with a line inlaid shaped frieze. Condition - Original and very good with working lock and key. Dimensions:- Height…48.75’’/ 124cm. Width…41.75’’/ 106cm. Depth…15’’/ 38cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £65.
