Description:
Antique English pewter plain rim plate by John Williams of Falmouth, Cornwall, England, who worked 1737-1761. The plate has two good touch marks to the reverse. The reverse rim has the scratched initials ''AA''.
Note: Items by Cornish Pewterer''s are considered scarce. A single reeded plate by John Williams is in the Royal Cornwall Museum, item number 1933.15.
Condition:
The plate is in good condition with a polished finish to the front, there are some knife marks to the front showing signs of use. The reverse is also polished.
Repairs: There are no repairs.
Size: 9.75 inch diameter (24.70cm).
