Edwardian Pair of Georgian Style Rummers C1910

1900 - 1920
Description

A stunning, substantial and good quality pair of Georgian style cut lead crystal rummers dating to the early 20thc, c1910. They have a good weight (approx 360gr each) and a substantial feel. They follow the typical Georgian rummer shape, the cutting being the difference. The bowl is diamond crisscross cut, with 2 rows of lozenges below, with a fine star cut base. One glass is slightly taller than the other, a sign of handmade. The larger glass holds just under 400 ml of liquid! These are glasses born to hold good wine! Perfect condition.
