Description:
Antique English pewter single reed dish by John Shorey I of London, England, who worked 1683-1722. There are ownership initials ''IWG'' to the front rim along with a clear set of hall marks. The plate has an inscribed line to the bowl.
Condition:
The dish is in good condition with a polished finish to the front, there are some knife marks to the front showing signs of use. The reverse is unpolished with some heavy oxide.
Repairs: There is a old repair to a rim split that is only visible on the reverse.
Size: 15.00 inch diameter (38.00cm).
Weight: 1211 grams.
