Description

A quality sideboard, constructed from solid walnut and veneer panels to the doors.

A cupboard to each side, each with two shelves and to the centre three good size drawers, with the top cutlery drawer, lined in green baize.

Attractive marquetry banding and each cupboard door with a panel depicting flowers and a butterfly in ebony, mother of Pearl and exotic woods. Made by the ‘Gaylade’ company. ‘Gaylade’ furniture by B.Cohen & Sons was first exhibited in 1926 at the London Furniture Exhibition and their high quality bedroom, dining and living room furniture was sold in upmarket department stores in the UK. A matching dining room table and chairs are also available.

This item has been professionally restored. With a couple of indentations to the top commensurate with age, with doesn’t distract from the overall appearance.
