Antique Oak Glazed Bookcase Bureau

An early 20th century antique oak bookcase bureau with glazed upper half having two leaded glass doors revealing three adjustable height shelves. The bureau base has a decorative geometric moulded fall front revealing a fitted interior, above two geometric moulded drawers each with brass drop handles or pulls, raised on four turned legs with barley twist front stretcher support. Splits into two parts for ease of transport.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. General surface wear in places but overall, rather good. Structurally solid and sound. The glass remains intact with no apparent cracks or breakages. Some small holes to the fronts of the shelves from drawing pins. Some keys present, however, the locks are a little stiff and temperamental. Splits into two parts for ease of transport and movement.
