Description

A handsome pair of French Opera Glasses signed A S Paris. The white metal is an early form of Aluminum; the glasses were professionally dismantled and each piece re-polished to gleam.

The outside is clad in stunning iridescent Mother Of Pearl or Nacre shell, the eyepieces too have complimentary shell mounts.

The come complete with a (new) velvet drawstring bag for their protection. Excellent condition and in full working order.

Measuring 4 1/4" x 2 1/8" tall expanding to 2 3/4".
