Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
It is of fine quality and is a great size with lots of useful storage space. The drawers are all graduated in depth, with unusually designed brass handles. The burr walnut pattern runs through all the drawer fronts. The top of this chest is also burr walnut with a cross banded edge.
We have had this recently French polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.
