A Superb Edwardian Silver Boxed Double Patience Set

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb and desirable Edwardian example of a Patience playing cards box, in hallmarked silver and with two decks of cards and a gilded interior. The rectangular box has a hinged lid and unusual rounded corners, making it most tactile. The twin set of cards are French in origin. A wonderful collector's item, usable today. Dimensions below.
