For your consideration is this beautiful modernist 8 day clock by German clockmakers Junghans, dating to the late 30's this time piece works perfectly for both modern and period interiors. On picking this clock up one can't ignore the weight which seems unusually heavy. The quality is undeniable. The two thick panes of pale lilac glass sit either side on a black central dial with fretted out Arabic numerals in solid brass. Solid brass frame holds the piece together.
