Description

I am pleased to offer this antique hand painted Coalport lobed dish dating from circa 1820. Finely painted roses and tulips in shades of pink, white and purple. Stamped to the back with the Gold Medal stamp which was only used for a few years from 1820. Overall condition is very good, gilding is bright and the painted area is unscathed. It measures 21.5cm wide by 20cm long and 3cm deep. There is an imprinted pattern to the white border area of the plate and this has one manufacturing flaw to it.
