18th Century Welsh Oak Carmarthenshire Coffer

An attractive 18th century antique Welsh oak Carmarthenshire coffer later adapted to have a hinged cupboard front, having an oak plank top with moulded edge, four arched panel front with the two central panels hinged to reveal a single fitted shelf to the interior, above three fitted drawers each with decorative brass handles, raised on bracket feet. Of large proportions.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. General surface wear throughout including some age-related marks and stains to the top (pictured), but overall, good. There is large historic scratch to the top (pictured) which has mellowed with age. Structurally solid and sound. Some historic repairs to the bracket feet. Overall, a good example of a large Carmarthen coffer.
