Description

A fabulously sparkling brooch with a graduated waterfall design. The old-cut pastes are fantastically clear and bright and have a lovely swaying movement.

We believe the brooch to be made of Platinon - a rare and non-tarnishing metal alloy which was invented in the 1920s as a platinum substitute. We have no way to confirm this but the metal is not silver and the brooch settings (note the beautiful detailing) are very similar to other stamped Platinon jewellery we have seen.

In excellent vintage condition with secure safety pin clasp.
