Walnut Armchair for Reupholstery C.1860.

Description

Mid 19th.c. walnut open easy armchair c.1860. Sinuous shaped frame in solid walnut with a moulded cresting rail flowing into open arms with scrolling terminals. Button upholstered backrest flanked with carved and pierced detail. Over a large sprung seat with a carved apron and front legs. Raised on the original neat little brass castors. Presented stripped and ready for reupholstery. The frame has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
