Description

An impressive and very original BRACKET CLOCK by Edward Howard of London.

The case is ebonised with a cast brass handle to the bell top; ornate spandrels; fish-scale frets to the side panels and original ebonised feet. The 8-day movement retains its original verge escapement, striking hours on a bell, whilst the dial is engraved and silvered, with ornate scrollwork to the four corners. Original blued steel hands; Strike/Silent control to the arch and date aperture above VI.

Full working order and guaranteed for one year.
