Description

George III oak open dresser base from the Welsh and Shrophire borders c.1800. Two plank top with an applied moulding below. Over three large drawers with mahogany crossbanded drawer fronts retaining their original brass with attractive pierced backplates and escutcheons. Particularly well shaped apron across the front, continued on the sides. Good cabriole front legs with pad feet repeated as a simplified version on the rear. Oak sides and drawer linings. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
