Late 19th.c. cast iron hall stand c.1890. With six hooks for hats and coats etc arranged around a central mirror, over a little shelf and a stick/umbrella stand with two removable enamelled drip trays in the base. Beautifully cast to resemble bamboo and retaining the original life like paint finish. Also with six original and beautifully coloured majolica tiles featuring a raised design and stamped on the rear for the French maker La Majolique Societe Anonyme. With the number 3263 cast into the rear on the metalwork. Damage to one tile and to the enamel on one of the drip trays, otherwise excellent condition.
