The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
Reference: A-Z Staffordshire Dogs by Pope, Figure 44 for a similar example, dated c.1890. Please note that Harding & Harding date these copper lustre finish dogs to c.1920 and illustrate similar examples also, pages 66/67.

The tallest measures 24cm (9 1/2") high, 18cm (7") long and 13.2cm (5 1/4") deep.
Condition is very good with no damage or restoration.
The copper has oxidised in some places causing a green effect amongst the copper, more noticeable on the female left-facing dog. Minimal surface wear, the enamel to the faces is very good on both.
