Pair of Victorian Silver Salt Spoons by Hilliard & Thomason Birmingham 1877

Description

This charming pair of mid-Victorian solid silver salt spoons were made by the renowned Hilliard & Thomason and is dated Birmingham 1877. Each circular bowl with a twist handle and cut-out leaf terminal.

Traces of gilt in inner bowls.

Hallmarks:

H&T for Hilliard & Thomason.

Lion Passant.

Duty mark.

Birmingham Assay mark.

Date letter "g" for 1881.

Dimensions:

Length: 8.5cm / 3.2 inches.

Condition:

Good.

Gilt rubbed i. inner bowls
