Early 20th Century Antique Oak Bureau Bookcase

A well-presented early 20th century antique oak two stage bureau bookcase having a moulded cornice, two leaded glass doors to the top section revealing three adjustable shelves, the bureau base having a fall front support by two pull out arms, revealing a simple fitted interior, above two fitted drawers each with brass handles or drawer pulls, raised on four square and turned upright supports with straight stretchers and bun feet.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. General surface wear in places but overall, good. The glass remains all intact with no apparent cracks or breakages. The drawers run smoothly. Structurally solid and sound. There is a key but it does not operate the locks – just aids in opening glazed doors. Overall, a good example of an antique oak bureau bookcase.
