Unusual Silver Mounted Sliced-cut Rainbow Glass Scent Bottle, Birmingham 1922

Description

This delightful and rather unusual silver mounted multi-coloured glass bottle is dated Birmingham 1922. The elaborately sliced-cut spherical glass body in graduated rainbow hues. Mounted with a screw top silver lid. The neck with clear glass stopper.

Makers marks: ILH

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Date letter "w" for 1921.

Lion Passant.

Dimensions:

Height: 6.5cm / 2.4 inches.

Diameter: 5.5cm / 2 inches.

Condition:

Very good.

Glass in the inner neck in good condition, no cracks.

No holes to the silver lid.

Glass in good condition.

Small firing stain original to the manufacture on the body.
