Swept solid mahogany rear stiles and arms. Exceptional carved and pireced arm terminals modelled as beautiful pair of swans (symbol of the Empress Josephine) with fabulous carved feather detail to both sides and acanthus leaf carving above and below. Loose seat pad (height 17") over a veneered apron and short sabre legs front and rear. Some old wear, generally very good conditon with clean seat cover. Particularly good colour to the wood, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
