Description

Early 20th Century mahogany twin pedestal partners desk, the top having a tan brown leather writing surface decorated with gold and blind tooling, the front of the desk having an arrangement of nine graduated, oak lined drawers with engraved brass knob handles, crossbanded drawer fronts, the reverse of the desk having a central top drawer flanked either side by two faux drawers, a cupboard either side below with oval panels on the doors and also crossbanded around the outer edge, opening to reveal a large compartment space, supported on a plinth base. Circa 1920.
