Pair of Italian Giltwood Window Seats C.1900.

Description

Fabulous pair of Italian Venetian giltwood benches or window seats c.1900. Good large size, nearly four feet long. Padded and upholstered seats with loose feather filled cushions. Exceptionally well carved giltwood bases with elaborate rococo detail across the apron, legs and stretchers. Presented as found with obvious damage to the upholstery, otherwise excellent condition, solid and sturdy and retaining the original gilding.

Dimensions: length 46", width 18", height 22" (18" without cushions).
