~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
A beautiful antique French portico clock.
To the top is a a bow and a quiver of arrows, symbolic of cupid and love. The heavy sunburst ormolu pendulum gently swings between the four slender columns supporting the clock.

The dial is porcelain enamel on copper with delicate floral swags between the numbers and finely cut gilt brass hands.
The French movement is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is original. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the video below to hear the bell and watch the clock running.

Condition of the case is excellent, the original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with some slight discolouration, wear and tarnish. The marble is also in excellent condition with a good polish. There are some slight nibbles to the edges and some slight chips to the bottom of the columns. The dial is also in excellent condition with no damage.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
