Art Deco 0.78 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1940

Description

A devastatingly lovely old European cut diamond engagement ring. The centre stone – weighing a known 0.78 carat – is internally very clean and displays a very subtle champagne hue. The centre is set in a four claw collet with squared off, milgrained claws. The highly detailed shoulders contrast with the rigid geometry of the setting, and leads to a slim 18k yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30309458).

Cut – Old European cut.

Colour – K.

Clarity – VS1.

Carat – 0.78.

Circa – 1940.

Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The diamond is 6 x 5.9mm. Sits 6mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k yellow gold and palladium. Stamped and tested.
