Miniature Brass Longcase Clock C.1880.

Description

Unusual little table or mantle clock c.1880. Standing just 14" tall, modelled as a longcase clock with elaborately decorated and pierced brass and brass plated metal case mounted with Renaissance style beast’s heads around the base and topped with a cherub with flute. Fine brass works with a white enamel face behind a bevelled glass bezel with original hands and numerals. Over a small mercury themometer in the body of the case. Working condition, key supplied.
