Description

An elegant silver table jewellery box with hallmarks for Birmingham 1913 and makers mark for the renowned silversmiths Elkington & Co. The design is typical of the late Edwardian/George V era - the box stands on three fleur de lys legs, has a scallop edge lid and an engine turned lines lid. The central shield bears engraved initials DI or ID. The lid is gilt lined and snaps shut with a nice click. In very good condition and a good size too.

Weight 140 gr including base and lining.
