Description

A lovely Victorian Period Gothic Revival oak antique pedestal desk. The rectangular solid oak top having an inset black leather writing surface with gilt and blind tooling above an arrangement of nine rectangular mahogany lined drawers with wonderful Gothic inspired handles and escutcheons and having fine chamfered detail. This desk is of wonderful colour and patination throughout with solid oak sides and back and raised on a rectangular plinth. English circa 1860-1870

Dimensions: 48" wide x 26" deep x 28" high (knee hole 18.5" wide x 22" high)

Condition: This desk is in excellent condition, the leather is a replacement and the plinth has been reveneered
