Description

Gents 1940s Yeoman wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the nicely shaped lugs. The case has a chrome plated bezel and lugs, an alloy centre and a stainless steel case back, a combination often seen in watches from the late 1940s. There is some marking and pitting but not too detrimental at all for a 1940s piece.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The dial is signed Yeoman, a brand name registered by Adie Brothers of Birmingham in 1929. It is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
