Scottish Flame Mahogany Longcase Clock Circa 1840

Description

Fine quality Scottish flame mahogany longcase or grandfather clock with 8 day striking movement. The painted dial painted with the Fall of Clyde in arch. The case with bow trunk door flanked with half columns. Case is in superb un-touched original condition with hardly a blemish and the movement has been recently overhauled and is in full working order. Wonderful rich colour to thew case with great waxed patina. Comes with all keys. A very pleasing west cost Scottish domestic longcase clock.

Size; 86" high, 19" wide 10" deep (at hood).
