This is a little bit different! A very large and interesting repeating, alarm, striking carriage clock with the original leather covered travel case. Made by Richard & Co of Paris circa 1890. The design reminds us of the Classicism & Rococco French architecture and we''re sure that''s exactly what this clock was styled after. The case has been carefully constructed of gilt brass and silver plated brass giving a very pleasant appearance. We have painstakingly taken the whole case and movement to pieces - see pictures. The clock has had a full overhaul and service and is sold with our 24-month guarantee. The original outer leather case has the clocks number on it and is quite large to accommodate this substantial clock.
