Description

An early George II era (reign 1727-60) silver serving spoon with assayed hallmarks for London 1736 and makers mark for Samuel Wood. Good clear marks. Reverse of the handle end is stipple engraved with initials WH and date 1738. A beautiful spoon.

Gauge where shaft joins spoon is 2mm. Weight 30gr.
