The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The case is 9 carat gold and it is hallmarked for Edinburgh 1958 with a maker’s mark for the British Watch Case Company. The case is in very nice condition. The back of the watch has a 1960 inscription, ‘To Harold, with all my love on our wedding day, 5th March 1960’.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
