Description

Gents 9ct gold Rotary wrist watch, 1946.

The watch has a Swiss 17-jewel hand-winding movement, signed with the Rotary wings logo, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Edinburgh 1946, with a case maker’s mark for the British Watch Case Company. The front of the case has a nicely decorated bezel. The plain case back has some light surface marks and some unevenness.

The lens is in good condition, just very light marking.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original dauphine shaped hands, seconds sweep with red pointer end and minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a vintage presentation box.
