This is an antique set of 6 dining chairs. An English, mahogany and leather King chair and suite of 5 seats, dating to the Early Victorian period, circa 1850.

A dining suite of fine antique distinction

Displaying a desirable aged patina and of appreciable good order

Select mahogany shows fine grain interest and dark russet hues

Seat pads upholstered in quality, comfortable leather with an inviting palette of olive green

Elegant King chair for the head of the table, with sinuous shaped arms and scrolled knuckles

Top rails arch gracefully with attractive Chippendale ears

Each chair graced with the dashing pierced lyre back splat, adorned with carved detail

The centrepiece of which, a plume of feathers - evoking the iconography of HRH, the Prince of Wales
