Pair of William Tonks Brass Candlesticks

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1900-1920 a pair of finely detailed brass candlesticks by the Birmingham manufacturers Wm Tonks, with their initials on the base with their trademark star, indicating the period 1900. There is also a design number on the inside of one foot - see last photo.

The candlesticks measure 22.5cm in height and the base is approximately 10cm square.

The pierce work on the brass is excellent with a lot of details throughout, and both candlesticks are in very good condition.

They have been professionally polished but not lacquered.
