Description

A well executed marble and alabaster bust of a young maiden Circa 1890. Her hair tied back beneath a head scarf. Having a delicate face and slender neck. Her clothing having nicely detailed lace trim to the front. The whole standing on a swept plinth base. Signed to the reverse.

An attractive and decorative sculpture that would suit a modern or period interior.

The Edwardian mahogany pedestal is available in a separate listing.

Condition. There is some discolouration to her face. Chips and losses mainly to her base as shown in the pictures. An old crack maybe a restoration to her left shoulder. She is complete and stand firm and solid.
