Very Rare Early Old Sheffield Plated Card Tray C1760

Description

Fabulous small Old Sheffield Plated card tray bearing 4 crisp 'unidentified' marks to the reverse, suggesting a first period piece c1760-1770. Standing on 3 ball and claw feet with beautiful decoraction. A true collectors piece.

The condition is good but with minor copper bleeding to the tray base and minor pitting.

Diameter approx 17.5cm by 3cm high.
