Description

A Fine quality burr walnut and parcel gilt antique cocktail cabinet by Waring and Gillows. The upper section having a moulded cornice with a cushion moulded frieze and finely carved and gilded detail above the twin rectangular doors veneered in burr walnut with herring bone banding. The door opening to reveal a fitted interior for storage of glasses, bottles and cocktail equipment, also having a sliding preparation shelf. The lower section having a rectangular mahogany lined drawer also with herring bone banding and raised on barley twist walnut supports with acanthus carving and finely guided details, united by a cross stretcher with acanthus carved Braganza feet. Stamped to the drawer Waring & Gillow Ltd. English circa 1920

Dimensions: 27" wide x 15" deep x 52" high

Condition This cabinet is in superb original condition, cleaned and waxed
