Description

This Traditional Persian Afshar carpet was handwoven in Iran very early in the 20th century. Hand-spun wool and cotton have been used in the construction, dyed using traditional organic vegetable dyeing techniques which have been used for generations.
The two symmetrical central medallions have intricate motifs woven in colours of green red and blue on a cream background.
