Description

A stunning pair of silver plated wine bottle coasters by the celebrated firm of Elkington and Mason. Fantastic solid construction with beautifully cast decoration of grape vines and turned fruitwood bases. Dating to c1850 with baized bases.
The condition is very good with little signs of wear with only minor discoloration to the interior.
Base diameter approx 16cm. Height approx 6.5cm.
Internal diameter approx 12.5cm.
Combined weight approx 1.1kg.
