Description

This is an exceptionally rare English patented writing table. In nice tidy and mainly original condition, we have repolished the top and fitted a new tooled leather to the writing surface. The remainder has been waxed and buffed so it is ready to grace its new home. Closed it is fairly simple, the nicely shaped legs and crinoline stretcher being a little give away for the treats inside. The writing surface slides out and at its rear is a lovely array of compartments and shaped areas for pens etc. The top has a small bag for your private bits and pieces, possibly the only down part of the whole item is the catch is missing off this lock, not too serious. There is a clip to hold messages and pockets on the right hand side for to do messages etc. A very unusual item in nice condition that is about 100 years old at a very keen price. give us a call if you would like to discuss.
