Pair of French Louis Xv Revival Fauteuil Armchairs with Painted Frames

Description

A pair of early 20th century French fauteuil in Louis XV style, the foliate carved cream-painted frames with hand-painted line borders in a soft gold colour, upholstered in yellow/gold satin with buttoned seats and backs and with two different types of woven braided borders.

A very nice quality pair of chairs of good proportions in original paint and with unusual upholstery. In excellent condition apart from a few small marks to the satin.
