Victorian Mahogany Duchess Dressing Table

An attractive and well-presented antique Victorian mahogany duchess style dressing table with large central swing mirror having decorative shaped and carved upright supports, a vanity box below with hinged lid, flanked by two pedestals of three jewellery drawers. The base has a shaped and moulded edge top, a single fitted drawer to the centre, raised on decorative bulbous turned and carved legs with under tier shelf to the bottom. Comes apart into two pieces for ease of transport and movement.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. General surface wear in places including some marks and minor scratches to the surface top (pictured). The mirror remains intact with some foxing and marks in places. There are some honest historic repairs to the small jewellery drawer fronts (pictured). Some minor losses to the veneer in places and an honest repair to a piece of beading on the right-hand side. Structurally solid and sound.
