Gold Sovereign, Queen Victoria, Jubilee Head, dated 1890, Australia, Melbourne Mint. This is the second version of the Queen Victoria Gold Sovereign, which first appeared in her Jubilee year of 1887 and continued until 1893; it is commonly known as the

"Jubilee Sovereign".  The reverse of the coin has the standard George and Dragon design.

Gold Sovereigns contain 7.98 grams of 22-carat gold.
